ChoreTracking helps households track and compare task contributions. The service is operated by Fireborne XIII Foundry LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive STE 100, Austin, TX 78731, United States. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Accounts and Plans
Free mode is limited to one browser or device and may have usage limits. Couple and Group plans include cloud sync, separate logins, plan limits, and unlimited task logging. Features, limits, and pricing may change.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity occurring under it.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically each month until canceled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by applicable law, payments already made are non-refundable.
If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction granting a statutory withdrawal (cooling-off) right for digital purchases, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because the subscription gives you immediate access to digital content and services, by subscribing you request that performance begin immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. This does not affect your statutory rights where the law does not permit such a waiver.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into ChoreTracking. You grant us a limited right to store, process, and display that information solely to provide and improve the service.
Household data is shared with the other account holders you invite. If you delete your account while other members remain, your account, membership, and work logs you created are deleted, but shared household records needed by the remaining members (such as the household, labels, and their content) may remain and ownership is transferred to a remaining member.
You are responsible for reviewing entries, exports, and maintaining your own backups.
Copyright
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (identification of the work, the material, your contact details, and a good-faith statement) to chore-tracking-support@f13foundry.com. We will respond to valid notices and may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.
Acceptable Use
You may use ChoreTracking only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- abuse or disrupt the service;
- attempt to bypass paid limits;
- overload voice transcription or automated systems;
- interfere with other users;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for misuse or violations of these Terms.
Third-Party Services
ChoreTracking may rely on third-party providers, including Stripe, hosting providers, AI services, analytics providers, and cloud infrastructure. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Availability and Disclaimer
ChoreTracking is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or permanently available operation. Features may change, be added, or be discontinued at any time.
ChoreTracking is not financial, legal, medical, tax, or professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChoreTracking and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ChoreTracking during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChoreTracking and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
International Use
Users are responsible for complying with laws applicable in their jurisdiction.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, natural disasters, government actions, or failures of third-party providers.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes
Disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law. Class actions and jury trials are waived to the maximum extent permitted by law. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
Mandatory Local Rights (Consumers)
If you use ChoreTracking as a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes or limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country or state of residence, including any right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Where your local law does not permit binding arbitration, a class-action waiver, or the chosen governing law to apply to you, those provisions do not apply to the extent prohibited, and you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of your local law.
